Dallas and Fort Worth baseball tournaments for 17U and 18U are played on full-size fields, with 90-foot bases and the mound at 60 feet 6 inches. Many tournaments run only an 18U division or a combined 17U/18U, so this page lists both.
Age is set by birthdate, with April 30 as the cutoff. For the 2027 season (fall 2026 events count toward it), 17U is players born from May 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010, and 18U is players born from May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009.
A player whose birthdate makes them too old for 17U can play with a grade exception if they're in 11th grade, and for 18U if they're in 12th grade. USSSA, NCS and PAC Sports allow 3 grade-exception players per team. Perfect Game and Five Tool go by graduation year instead (2028 graduates or younger for 17U, 2027 for 18U), and so does 2D Sports.
