Privacy Policy

OnDeck (“OnDeck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website ondeckhub.com (the “Service”). This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. What OnDeck does

OnDeck is a youth baseball tournament finder. We aggregate publicly available tournament listings from sanctioning bodies (such as Perfect Game, USSSA, NCS, PAC, Five Tool, and others) and present them in one searchable dashboard. Browsing, filtering, and searching tournaments does not require an account.

2. Information we collect

Contact form. If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can respond. These are stored in our database and emailed to us through our email provider, Brevo.

Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used: pages viewed, features used, general device and browser type, and similar diagnostic data.

Advertising and measurement. We use the Meta pixel, a piece of code from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), on every page of the Service. It records that a browser visited OnDeck and which pages it viewed, and it records when someone creates an account. Meta uses this to measure how our ads perform and to show OnDeck ads to people who have visited the site. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta may match this activity to it. We do not send Meta your name, your email address, or the tournaments you searched for.

Which tournaments get opened, searched for, and clicked through. When you open a tournament, click through to its registration page, or run a search, we record which tournament or which filters it was, the time, and a random ID stored in a cookie on your device so repeat visits by the same browser count once rather than many times. If you are signed in we record that it was your account. That ID is not linked to your name or your email address, and it tells us nothing about you beyond which tournaments this browser looked at on OnDeck.

We use this to see which tournaments are getting attention, and to tell the organisers running them how much interest their events are drawing. We never give an organiser your email address, your name, or anything that identifies you. They see counts, not people, and that will not change.

ZIP code search. When you search by ZIP code and radius, your ZIP is used in your browser to sort tournaments by distance. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Accounts. Anyone can create an account. Signing up uses Supabase authentication with an email address and a password, or with Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We send one email to confirm the address you signed up with. Sign-up and sign-in are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is filling in the form.

Saved tournaments and alerts. With an account you can save tournaments and ask to be told when something changes about them, such as new teams registering or a division filling up. To do that we store the tournaments you save, the alert settings you choose, and any team searches you set up, and we email you through Brevo when an alert fires. We also keep a record of when you saved a tournament and when you removed it. Every alert email carries a one-click link to switch that alert off, which works without signing in.

Publicly sourced tournament and roster data. OnDeck aggregates tournament information, including event details and, in some cases, the names of registered teams and rostered players, from public sanctioning-body websites. This data originates from those third-party sources, not from OnDeck users. If you believe information sourced from these sites should be corrected or removed, contact us (Section 8) and we will address it promptly.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• operate and provide the Service;
• respond to your messages and support requests;
• understand and improve how the Service is used (analytics);
• measure our advertising and show OnDeck ads to people who have visited;
• see which tournaments are drawing interest, and report that as counts to the organisers running them;
• tell you about a tournament you saved or are watching, including an offer from the organiser running it, sent by us and never by them;
• secure the site and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give out your email address. Not to tournament organisers, not to sanctioning bodies, not to anyone. If an organiser ever wants to reach people following their tournament, the message goes out from us, to people who chose to follow it, and the organiser never learns who they are.

We share information only as needed to run the Service, with the following providers:

We may also disclose information to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect the rights and safety of OnDeck or others, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for essential functionality (keeping you signed in), for counting unique visitors to a tournament (a random ID with nothing in it that identifies you), for analytics (Google Analytics), and for advertising (the Meta pixel). The Meta pixel does track browsing activity across sites and apps for advertising purposes, which is what lets us show OnDeck ads to people who have already visited. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and Section 6 lists the opt-outs.

6. Your choices

• Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out tools or your device settings.
• Alert emails. Every alert email has a one-click link to turn that alert off, and it works without signing in. You can also remove a saved tournament, or ask us to delete your account entirely (Section 8).
• Advertising. You can limit how Meta uses this activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Most browsers and ad blockers can also block the pixel outright, and doing so does not affect anything on OnDeck.
• Correction or removal. To review, correct, or remove information, including publicly sourced tournament or roster data, contact us (Section 8).

7. Children’s privacy

OnDeck is intended for adults, meaning parents, coaches, and organizers of youth baseball, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Tournament and roster information shown in the Service (which may include the names of youth players) is aggregated from public sanctioning-body websites and is not collected from OnDeck’s users. If you wish to have publicly sourced information about a minor reviewed or removed, contact us and we will act promptly.
