Dallas and Fort Worth baseball tournaments for 13U are played on fields with either 80-foot bases and the mound at 54 feet, or full-size 90-foot bases and the mound at 60 feet 6 inches, and the tournament says which (NCS's E9 events play 13U at 54/80 unless noted).
Age is set by birthdate, with April 30 as the cutoff. For the 2027 season (fall 2026 events count toward it), 13U is players born from May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014.
A player whose birthdate makes them too old for 13U can play with a grade exception if they're in 7th grade. USSSA, NCS, PAC Sports, 2D Sports, Five Tool and Parsons allow 3 grade-exception players per team, and Perfect Game allows 2.
